One of my favorite things to make at the moment is a Roasted Vegetable Bowl also known as a “Scrap Bowl” or a “Buddha Bowl”. There are so many varieties of Buddha Bowls but generally speaking, one consists of 3 parts being a grain, vegetables and a sauce or seasoning on top. And, this is as far as it goes with rules!
Growing up in Australia one thing that was always served at Children’s Birthday Parties was the Australian Icon, the Chocolate Crackle. The Chocolate Crackle is as well-known as Vegemite, The Sydney Harbour Bridge or Crocodile Dundee. It just wasn’t a proper Birthday Party if there were not Chocolate Crackles.

Back in March of this year I was invited to the opening of the new Legoland Discovery Center in the suburb of Yonkers (Westchester County), which is approximately an hour drive North of New York City. I did plan on attending but was unable to make it. I was not so concerned about it though as at the time, my 2.5 year old Son was not into Lego at all.
